Palm Beach Pumpkin Patches and Fall Festivities
The fall season has arrived in Palm Beach, and despite our year-round mild weather, it’s time to get into the autumn spirit and take part in seasonal festivities. There’s never a dull moment in Palm Beach, especially for residents with children and grandchildren with whom they can enjoy the outdoors. Take a look at all of the great events the area has to offer, from pumpkin patches to Halloween activities.
Fall & Halloween Festivities:
- Kooky Halloween will be held on October 25th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Jupiter Community Center. This is a free event featuring bounce houses, candy, music, prizes, games, and more.
- Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is hosting Spookyville from October 18th to 20th, 25th to 27th, and on the 31st. It’s a trick-or-treating event where children can trick-or-treat, participate in arts and crafts, enjoy a costume contest, and more. Admission is $10, and children 2 and under get in free. Hours vary.
- For the older kids and adults, Fright Nights will take place at the South Florida Fairgrounds. There are four different haunted houses from October 10th to November 2nd. Thursday park hours are from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. Friday and Saturday, 6:00pm to midnight.
- The Palm Beach Zoo is hosting their annual Boo at the Zoo on October 18th to 20th and 25th to 27th from 9:00am through 9:00pm. It’s a trick-or-treat event designed for children, and features a costume contest, prizes, and character meet and greets.
Palm Beach Pumpkin Patches:
- The South Florida Pumpkin Towne opens on October 10th. There are three different locations to choose from: Jupiter, Stuart, and Wellington. The patches offer three different sizes of pumpkin: mini pumpkins, pie pumpkins, and carving pumpkins. There are also bounce houses, a merry-go-round, and hay bales. Hours of operation are 9:00am to 9:00pm, 7 days a week.
- The Good Shepherd Episcopal School in Tequesta has a pumpkin patch available from October 18th to 20th. The event features face-painting, hayrides, food trucks, and of course the pumpkin patch. Please bring canned goods for the CROS Ministries food drive. Patch times vary depending on the day.
- The United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach is hosting a pumpkin patch from October 12th to October 31st, on weekdays from 3:00pm to 8:00pm and on weekends from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Proceeds of pumpkin patch sales benefit children and youth ministries.
- Journey Church of Jupiter has a pumpkin patch open from October 12th to October 31st, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on weekdays, 11:00am to 7:00pm on weekends, and 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Halloween Day. There is a Pumpkin Painting Party on the 13th and a Smores Night on the 30th.
- The Holy Spirit Lutheran Church’s Pumpkin Patch in Juno Beach is open from October 13th to October 31st from 3:00pm until dark on weekdays and 9:00am until dark on weekends.
- Jack O’Lantern’s Pumpkin Patch in West Palm Beach is open Monday-Thursday from 11:00am to 8:00pm, Friday 11:00am to 9:00pm, Saturday-Sunday 10:00am to 9:00pm. Pick a pumpkin, enjoy activities, check out costumes, and more.
October in Jupiter and Palm Beach is packed full of fun Halloween events for the entire family, from small children to adults and seniors. Even if you don’t celebrate Halloween, the pumpkin patches offer excellent produce for fall baking and are a great way to ring in the holiday season.
