About the Town

Juno Beach, Direct-Ocean Living in Palm Beach County

Juno Beach is a small incorporated town on the Atlantic coast of Palm Beach County, roughly two square miles of land set between Palm Beach Gardens to the south and Jupiter to the north. Incorporated in 1953, it is one of the corridor's quieter addresses: a short oceanfront stretch, a low-key residential pace, and two civic anchors that set the tone, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, a sea-turtle hospital and conservation campus repeatedly named a top free attraction nationally, and the rebuilt Juno Beach Pier. Just inside the town line sits Seminole Golf Club, the invitation-only Donald Ross course long tied to the corporate elite, which lends the address an outsized prestige relative to its size.

For buyers, Juno Beach is mostly an oceanfront-condominium market, and the building you choose matters as much as the unit. The inventory ranges from the gated twin-tower Ocean Royale to a cluster of mid-1990s nine-foot-ceiling buildings, Beachfront, Oceanfront, and Waterfront, alongside earlier addresses like Juno By The Sea and Brigadoon. Direct-oceanfront and walk-to-beach single-family homes exist but are scattered and scarce, with no single named subdivision. The whole premium here is scarcity-driven, paid for that short ribbon of sand.

"In Juno Beach you're buying a building and a position on a very short stretch of oceanfront. Direct-ocean versus walk-to-beach, the reserves, the recent assessments, the milestone inspection status, those decide the purchase. I read the building before we ever talk about the view."

A sea-turtle hospital, research, and conservation campus on the oceanfront, repeatedly named a top free attraction nationally. It also manages the Juno Beach Pier and gives the town much of its civic identity.

Juno Beach Pier

Education

Schools in Juno Beach, FL

Juno Beach is served by the School District of Palm Beach County, with public, charter, and choice options plus private schools nearby. Assignment is by exact home address, and choice/magnet programs admit by application, so confirm both the zoned schools and any choice options for a specific property before you buy. The notes below describe assignment, not school quality; confirm current zoning for a specific address before you buy; grade configurations and attendance zones can change.

School Grades Type Notes
The Conservatory School @ North Palm Beach K-8 Public Zoned elementary (K-8) for a central Juno Beach address per the district's attendance-boundary layer (verified 2026-07-24)
Howell L. Watkins Middle School 6-8 Public Zoned middle for a central Juno Beach address; a K-8 zone may keep students at the Conservatory through grade 8
William T. Dwyer High School (Palm Beach Gardens) 9-12 Public Zoned high school for a central Juno Beach address (verified 2026-07-24)

Assignments above were checked against the district's attendance-boundary layer for a central Juno Beach address on 2026-07-24; the Jupiter-area schools sometimes listed for Juno Beach (Lighthouse, Beacon Cove and Independence) do not serve this town. Juno Beach still spans a short north-south range, so zoning varies by exact address and choice/magnet seats are limited. Verify each home's assigned schools and any choice options with the School District of Palm Beach County attendance-boundary maps and School Locator before a purchase decision.

Agent's Perspective

My Honest Take on Juno Beach

What I tell buyers who ask about Juno Beach

Juno Beach is, in my view, one of the most appealing small oceanfront towns in northern Palm Beach County. You get a real, walkable beach, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center and the pier as a civic anchor, a quieter pace than the bigger coastal cities, and the address carries an outsized prestige for its size, helped along by Seminole Golf Club just inside the town line. For an oceanfront-condo buyer who wants the beach as a daily lifestyle, with Florida's no-state-income-tax math underneath, it is a strong fit.

What Juno Beach doesn't do well

It is a small, scarcity-driven market, so the premium is real and inventory is thin, especially direct-oceanfront and walk-to-beach single-family homes, of which there are very few. It is a condo market first, which means the building is the purchase: dues, reserves, special assessments, and Florida's milestone structural-inspection and reserve-study requirements all matter, and they vary a lot building to building, especially in the older oceanfront addresses. Coastal wind and flood insurance is a real line item here.

Who it's best for, and who should look elsewhere

Best for: oceanfront-condo buyers who want walkable beach living, second-home and seasonal owners who want a quiet, prestigious coastal address, and buyers drawn to the conservation-minded character of the town.

May not suit: buyers who need a private dock or boating from the home, those who want a wide selection of single-family inventory (look at Jupiter or Palm Beach Gardens), buyers who want to avoid condo associations and assessments entirely, or those who want a gated golf-and-country-club lifestyle (see PGA National or Admirals Cove). I will tell you honestly when one of those fits better.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Juno Beach

What is it actually like living in Juno Beach?
Juno Beach is a small incorporated oceanfront town of roughly two square miles in Palm Beach County, set between Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter and built around a short Atlantic beach, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, and the Juno Beach Pier. Day to day it is a quieter, walkable, beach-and-water lifestyle, more low-key and condo-oriented than the larger coastal cities nearby.
Which Juno Beach building should I buy in?
It depends on budget and priorities. Ocean Royale is the gated, amenity-rich newer tower; Beachfront, Oceanfront, and Waterfront are mid-1990s direct-ocean buildings locally noted for nine-foot ceilings; and earlier addresses like Juno By The Sea and Brigadoon, plus smaller associations, can offer value. The building's reserves, assessments, and inspection status matter as much as the unit, so compare them directly, which is exactly what I help buyers do.
How much do homes cost in Juno Beach?
Widely, by building and by direct-ocean versus walk-to-beach, from more accessible older condos to multi-million-dollar oceanfront residences. Any single figure hides that range, so see the live market snapshot for current MLS numbers, or ask me for a pull on a specific building and floor.
What's the difference between direct-ocean and walk-to-beach condos?
Direct-ocean (east-side) buildings face the Atlantic and carry the highest premium and the most beach lifestyle; walk-to-beach and lower-rise associations a short distance back often trade the direct view for value. The right call depends on how much the unobstructed ocean view matters to you, and on each building's financials.
What should condo buyers check before buying in Juno Beach?
Treat the building like the purchase. Review the association's reserves and reserve study, recent and pending special assessments, dues, rental rules, and the status of Florida's milestone structural inspection and reserve requirements (especially in older oceanfront buildings). A beautiful unit in an under-funded building is a very different buy from the same unit in a well-run one.
What is the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, and is the pier open?
The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is an oceanfront sea-turtle hospital and conservation campus, repeatedly named a top free attraction nationally, and it manages the Juno Beach Pier. The town beach is among the densest sea-turtle nesting areas in the world, with 25,025 nests recorded by the Center in 2023. The pier has been undergoing refurbishment, so confirm its current status and access directly.
What schools serve Juno Beach?
Juno Beach is part of the School District of Palm Beach County. Checked against the district's attendance-boundary layer for a central Juno Beach address (2026-07-24), the zoned schools are The Conservatory School @ North Palm Beach (a K-8), Howell L. Watkins Middle, and William T. Dwyer High in Palm Beach Gardens; the Jupiter schools sometimes listed for Juno Beach (Lighthouse, Beacon Cove, Independence) do not serve this town. Assignment is by exact address and grade configurations can change, so verify the zoned schools and any choice options with the School District of Palm Beach County before you buy. Many buyers here are second-home or seasonal owners.
Is Juno Beach a good place to buy right now?
That depends on your timeline, budget, and which building, and I will not give a one-size-fits-all answer or financial advice. What I can do is show current inventory and the live market data, walk through the full cost of ownership here (dues, reserves, assessments, coastal insurance), and help you decide whether a specific building and unit work for you.

The Experience, in Their Words

Janice Aronovitz

Buying and selling a home can be an incredibly stressful process, but working with Dylan Snyder made all the difference. We first met Dylan ten years ago when we moved to Jupiter and he was the seller’s agent. When it came time to sell our own home, we chose him to represent us. It was the right decision—our home was under contract almost immediately. Dylan went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable every step of the way. He always took the time to listen to our concerns, answer our questions, and provide the exact right amount of support. In addition to selling our home, he put in a lot of time and effort into helping us find our rental. We couldn't recommend him more highly!

Their communication, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Thanks again Cristen and Dylan!!
